But some super-titles, including Supergirl #12, were previewed over on Newsarama here: http://www.newsarama.com/34562-supergirl-august-2017-solicitation-preview.html But the biggest news in that article is that Robson Rocha is taking over on monthly are duties on the book. Supergirl Episode 220 City Of Lost Children Supergirl episode 220, titled City of Lost Children , came out this week and was an interesting mix of two plots. Half the episode is devoted to James Olsen, a character who I feel has struggled to find his place in the show all season. James gets the spotlight here and we get some decent backstory and character progression. We learn about his childhood, how he was bullied, and how he kept his guard up. We also see him step up to the plate as a heroic figure just being James. I dont know if this episode solves the James problem but at least it lets him shine. The other half is a close look at Lena and Rhea and an experiment that catapults us to the season finale. This is just as good a look at Lena as it is James. We get another peek behind the curtain to see just how damaged Lena is despite her polished and proper exterior. And Rhea definitely takes advantage of this weakness in Lenas personality. I must say that both Katie McGrath and Teri ...

Supergirl Middle Grade Novel I want to send a hat tip off to Twitters @weezil88 For sending me this news story last week. It seems that the CW continuity Supergirl will be headed to the book shelves this fall. Here is a link to Entertainment Weeklys coverage: http://ew.com/books/2017/05/30/flash-supergirl-middle-grade-novels/ First off, the book sports a pretty amazing cover by Cesar Moreno. Supergirl is bursting off the cover! And I love the implied S-shield in the background. Here is the pertinent blurbs from the article (which I always recommend you read in full): The Flash and Supergirl will be saving the world some more this fall only this time it will be in book form. Both DC heroes will be the stars of their own individual middle-grade novels, EW can announce exclusively. Supergirl: Age of Atlantis  will be written by Jo Whittemore and will see Kara Danvers deal with various weird goings-on all over National City. Not only have average citizens suddenly start performi...

Supergirl Ep 216 Star Crossed Supergirl episode 216, titled Star Crossed aired earlier this week and finally revealed just who Mon-El is. It also made him a more sympathetic character when you see just what Daxam was like and who his parents are. Any time you name something Star Crossed, you are aiming for a Romeo and Juliet feel. And that means doomed lovers. Certainly, Krypton and Daxam could be the planetary equivalent of the Montagues and the Capulets. And Mon-El hiding his real identity for this long certainly isnt a good foundation for a long standing relationship. So I wasnt surprised just how this all played out. This also was a similar crossover episode with the Flash. We knew the musical episode of the Flash was happening the night after this aired. The teaser at the end of Supergirl is the bridge of her joining the crossover, much as the show proceeded in the Invasion crossover. Lastly, since Melissa Benoist was probably busy filming Flash at the same time, much of this epis...
